The Mercedes-Benz C 11 has been a staple in Tamiya’s inventory, so it’s not surprising to see it on the Re-Issue sheet again.
This kit is modeled after the Group C Prototype car that was in appearance at the World Sports-Prototype Championship in 1990. The body and large rear wing are both 1mm polycarbonate that sits on the ABS plastic bathtub chassis. It’s got a 2WD pancar-style drivetrain, 3-point suspension system and a CVA-damped T-Bar rear suspension. A ball differential, high grip foam tires and RS-540 Sport Tuned motor complete the package.
